On 28 October 2020, representatives of the Slovak and Czech Embassies in London and the Free Czechoslovak Air Force Associated ltd commemorated the victims of Czechoslovak airmen serving in the United Kingdom Royal Air Force during World War II at the Runnymede Air Forces Memorial. The panels of this memorial contain 20,456 names, of which 149 Czechs - Slovaks (14) who perished and their remains were not found. At least in this way is the respect for the fallen, who also fought for the freedom and democracy of Czechoslovakia, whose 102nd anniversary we are commemorating this year.
