On Saturday 10 May, the UK's holiest site, Westminster Abbey, hosted a commemorative event to mark the end of the Second World War.
Representing Czechia at the commemoration at the memorial dedicated to the Czech Armed Forces, who fought alongside the British during the war, was the First Secretary of the Embassy in London, Magdalena Kopicová. She gave a solemn speech and laid a wreath of poppy flowers at the memorial. During the ceremony, she was joined by a Scout troop from Czechia who formed a guard of honour at the memorial.
