The Czech Republic at the Taste of Europe Event in London

The Taste of Europe event in London created a platform for dialogue, the sharing of experiences, and the presentation of European diversity in a modern context.

On 16 April 2026, the Czech Republic took part in the Taste of Europe event, organised in London by the Delegation of the European Union. The aim of the event was to introduce visitors to Europe’s diversity through gastronomy, innovation, and sustainable approaches to food production.

At the Czech stand, tradition met the future in a symbolic way. Budějovický Budvar showcased Czech brewing as a long-established tradition built on quality, craftsmanship, and international renown.

Benu Meat represented an innovative approach, focusing on the production of pet food while also contributing to raising awareness of lab-grown meat as one of the possible pathways towards a more sustainable future of food.

The Czech Republic’s participation in the Taste of Europe event highlighted the breadth of its offer – from proven traditional brands to progressive projects responding to global challenges in sustainability and innovation.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in London would like to thank Budějovický Budvar and Benu Meat for representing the Czech Republic and for their active participation in this European event.
