The presentations by carefully selected producers, firms and research institutes will take place on 25 October 2018 at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kensington. Most of the firms are already suppliers to a large international market and are seeking partners in the UK for direct contacts, distribution/supply and partnership or, for R&D for mutually beneficial business.

The medical devices and equipment will feature (but are not limited to) the following areas: stents, catheters, pacemakers, surgical instruments, electronic medical devices, joint implants, nanotech wound care dressings, clothing, incise drapes and, units for the distribution of medical gases, among other products.

 

Agenda:

1pm - Buffet lunch 

2pm - Seminar (opening by Minister of State for Health Care, presentation of 12 Czech companies and panel debate)

5pm - Networking Reception with traditional Czech cuisine and beer and, Moravian wine.    

 

In the morning of 25 October there will also be a Czech Heart Day conference in which distinguished Czech and British cardiologists will meet and discuss advances in health care in both countries. Participants of the afternoon business seminar are also welcome to attend the cardiologist conference. 

These events will take place as a part of “Czech Week” (22-28.10.2018), which is organised to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the Czech Republic. Czech Medical Devices Day is a part of the economic diplomacy projects of the Czech Republic and is organised in cooperation with the London office of CzechInvest.
