Ambassador Sečka introduced to Mr. Ellis a plan of events of the Czech Embassy in London in the field of public and cultural diplomacy regarding the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Czechoslovakia next year (so called "Czech Republic 100").

The BBC is genuinely interested in the significant anniversaries that the Czech Republic will celebrate in 2018 - in addition to the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia, it is the 50th anniversary of the Prague Spring and the 95th anniversary of Czech Radio. Ambassador Sečka presented concrete proposals for some joint projects next year, to which Mr. Ellis responded very positively. Their details will be discussed in the near future.
