
Chief Minister of Perak Received Czech Ambassador to Discuss Economic Cooperation

Ambassador Rudolf Hykl was received by Chief Minister of Perak Dato´Seri DiRaja Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir in Ipoh on March 12th to discuss trade and investment cooperation of the Czech Republic with the State of Perak. The top representatives of government and agencies for industry and investments were present.
Ambassador Hykl highlighted the relevance of the Czech Republic and its economic potential for the development priorities of Perak, which include automobile, electrotechnic and electrical industry, machinery, food processing and green technologies.
Chief Minister Zambry Abdul Kadir welcomed interest of the Czech Republic in the development of relations with Perak and praised Czech Republic as advanced industrial country. He provided Czech side with an overview of economic goals and agenda of the State Government and positively reflected interest of Czech companies in establishing business and investment ties with Perak. It was agreed that both sides will explore further collaboration on specific sectors, green technologies being one of them.
