Deputy Prime Minister Macinka to Hold Talks in Tirana with Government Ministers of the Slavkov Format and Albania

The political, security, and economic importance of Albania, the current state and future of EU accession negotiations, as well as the overall situation in the Western Balkans region will be the main topics of the S3–Albania format talks, which will take place at the level of foreign ministers on 30 April in Tirana. The Czech Republic will be represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Petr Macinka.
The meeting in the Albanian capital Tirana will be hosted by Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha. Alongside Petr Macinka, the meeting—held during Slovakia’s presidency of the Slavkov Format—will also be attended by Slovak Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Juraj Blanár and Austria’s Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Beate Meinl-Reisinger, representing the other S3 countries.
