Czech Diplomacy Continues Talks with Partners on Sustainable Peace in Ukraine

Peace in Ukraine must be long-term and, above all, sustainable. This is the position of the Czech diplomacy, which together with its partners, including Ukraine, continues intensive negotiations on European security. The Czech delegation to the Political Directors' Meeting in London was led by Veronika Stromšíková, Director General of the Security and Multilateral Section.
The meeting was a follow-up to a special summit convened by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London on Sunday. "Now more than ever it is important that we coordinate our actions carefully. All countries around the table agreed that a militarily strong Ukraine, backed by Western allies, is the best guarantee that Russia will not dare to continue its expansion further west," Stromšíková said on her return.
