Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic

Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic is a central organ of public administration in the field of culture.

Ministry of Culture´s areas of administration:

-          Arts, cultural education, cultural heritage

-          Agenda of churches and religious societies

-           Agenda of periodic as well as non-periodical press and other printed materials

-          Radio and television broadcasting (except areas covered by the Council for Radio and TV broadcasting)

-          Copyright act

-          Production and trade in the sphere of culture

Ministry further:

-          Executes  state administration in the field of libraries and museums

-          Governs state heritage inspection as its own specialized control body in the field of state heritage care.
