From 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. primary and secondary school students can explore European languages, countries, and cultures through games, competitions, and interactive activities at a "Language café".

Designed primarily for students in grades 7–9 and upper secondary school, this interactive program offers a unique opportunity to experience Europe’s linguistic and cultural diversity firsthand through native speakers and representatives from European embassies and cultural institutes. Visitors can explore stations dedicated to various European countries, incl. Czechia and languages and gain basic knowledge of European cultures in a fun, informal setting. In addition to the official languages ​​of the European Union, incl. Czech language, Finnish sign language and Finnish-Swedish sign language will also be showcased.

An excerpt from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland will be read in several EU languages, incl. Czech language, and sign languages on the Saarikoski rug on the 3rd floor of the Helsinki Central Library Oodi from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is a children's book by Lewis Carroll, published in 1865. It is one of the world's most translated children's books – there are 174 official translations.
