Discussion with Czech writer Bianca Bellová in Helsinki

On October 22, 2024, a discussion with successful Czech author Bianca Bellová was held in Rosebud Sivullinen bookshop in Helsinki.
Bianca Bellová, author of novels and a collection of short stories, talked about her work Jezero (in Finnish Järvi), which was published in translation into Finnish by Kairaamo publishing house in June this year. The discussion was moderated by Susanna Räty, publisher and translator of the novel Jezero into Finnish. The event was interpreted in both Czech and Finnish by translator Eero Balk.
Bianca Bellová has won several awards for the novel Jezero (2016), including the European Union Prize for Literature and the EBRD Literature Prize. The rights to publish this work have been sold to more than twenty countries.
