Directive 16 – rules for appointments at the Embassy

In order to comply with Directive 16 of the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, currently applied in the city of Hanoi, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Hanoi requires all applicants to visit the embassy only by appointment.

 

Each entrant will be given a specific time and should not come to the Embassy more than 10 minutes before the appointment. Kindly note that according to Directive 16 no more than 2 people may gather outside the offices.

All visa applicants will be contacted and given specific time for their appointments (kindly do not come at 8:30am as usually required, but turn up at the time assigned for you), some visa applicants will have to be rescheduled to a different date due to the necessity to limit the number of applicants/entrants at the Embassy per day.

Applicants interested in registration for submitting a residence permit application should first send an email to the following email address: hanoi.documents@mzv.gov.cz. The will be given a specific time for registration on following Tuesday, the registration hours will be temporarily extended to 9-11 am.

Applicants wishing to complete their application files also need to take an appointment by sending an email to hanoi.documents@mzv.gov.cz. They will be given appointment during the usual hours for this purpose.

Those registering their visit at the Embassy (as per above) should take the following steps:

1. Book your registration via the following email address: hanoi.documents@mzv.gov.cz to schedule the time for your registration.

2. Receive your time for registration via email.

3. Come to the embassy no sooner than 10 minutes before the time informed in the email.
