What is CCE?

The CCE is a Czech language examination for foreigners organized by ÚJOP – Charles University. It assesses the Czech language proficiency of non-native speakers.

The examination is based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Level A2 represents basic Czech language proficiency, while B1 corresponds to a more independent ability to use Czech in everyday communication.

The CCE certificate can be used as proof of Czech language proficiency for study and other purposes. If you need the certificate for a particular university, institution or other specific purpose, we recommend checking the current requirements of the relevant institution in advance.

The first CCE examination in Vietnam

The first examination session is limited to 10 places. If you are interested, we recommend registering early.
