Appointments for visa and residence permit applications

Applicants residing in Ireland (foreigners with Ireland Residency Permit) who wish to submit their application must request an appointment in advance.

E-mail appointment requests are processed differently based on the application type:

  1. Schengen Visa for TOURISM
  2. Schengen Visa for other purposes such as BUSINESS, VISIT, STUDY, and Schengen Visa for family members of EU citizens (Directive 2004/38/EC)
  3. Long-term visa or Long-term/Permanent Residence Permit

The order of requests in the final list is generated automatically and randomly. Therefore the first-come, first-served rule does not apply. Appointments are assigned to the applicants from the list until the quota is reached. Successful applicant receives confirmation on his/her appointment within 3 working days. An automatic message that the meeting cannot be provided will be automatically sent to others.

The Embassy cannot accept requests for appointment change. You have to cancel your appointment and make a request for another one.
