Travel Medical Insurance

When you apply for a Schengen visa, you need to possess travel medical insurance covering all expenses which might arise in connection with repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention and/or emergency hospital treatment or death.
The insurance must be valid throughout the entire Schengen Area and cover the entire period of stay (transit).
The minimum coverage must be EUR 30,000.
When travelling based on an invitation officially verified by the Alien Police Service, the insurance coverage referred to therein pertains only to the territory of the Czech Republic. Applicants are therefore requested to arrange coverage for the entire Schengen Area confirming to the above specifications.
