Celebrating the end of the school year at Czech School Dublin

On Saturday, June 16, 2018, the 2017/2018 school year was officially ended at Czech School Dublin.

The children prepared an imaginative and impressive program full of performances, songs and poems. At the end of the beautiful afternoon, school director Petra Miletínová and the director of the preschool section Ivana Rocca Kovářová handed children a certificate of completion for the year.

The whole event was attended by Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Ireland Petr Kynštetr, who in his speech thanked both the teachers and volunteers for their enthusiasm and dedication. He greatly appreciated the interest of children in teaching Czech language and other subjects, knowing that they do so at the expense of free time. He stressed that the Embassy of the Czech Republic will continue to support the Czech School Dublin. Finally, he wished the children joyful summer holidays as he handed each one a small gift.
