Photo exhibition “Václav Havel 1968-2003“ in the Royal Library in Copenhagen

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Denmark presented the photo exhibition Václav Havel 1968-2003 in the Royal Library in Copenhagen.
The new travelling exhibition Václav Havel 1968-2003 was opened in the Royal Library in Copenhagen (The Black Diamond) on 5 September 2012 by the Czech Ambassador Zdeněk Lyčka and Ms Daniela Retková, the manager of special programmes in DOX – Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague. D. Retková worked in the Office of President Václav Havel at the beginning of the 90s.

The exhibition Václav Havel 1968-2003 bythe Czech photographers Oldřich Škácha, Karel Cudlín and Alan Pajer was originally presented on the occasion of Václav Havel´s 75th birthday in October 2011 in DOX. It has been travelling around Danish towns since April 2012. So far, people have had an opportunity to see it at the Aalborg University Library, on the occasion of the People‘s Meeting on Bornholm and on the island of Langeland.

The exhibition was shown in The Black Diamond until 22 September 2012. Afterwards it continued to the Ballerup Library.
