Minister Síkela gave a lecture at Harvard University on the energy security of Europe after the Russian aggression in Ukraine. He stressed the importance of diversification of resources, renewable energies and nuclear energy in the framework of transatlantic cooperation.

At MIT, Minister Sikela met with representatives of the MISTI program and the Martin Trust Center, which promote cooperation and entrepreneurship among students. In a discussion with them, he presented tools to support entrepreneurship in the country.

Minister Síkela also visited the headquarters of Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he discussed, among other things, the possible expansion of their Brno plant.

Minister Síkela attended a programme for the Czech business delegation at the Cambridge Innovation Centre. Six Czech companies presented their innovative solutions and plans to investors. The Minister expressed his support for the companies in their efforts to enter the North American market.
