New York City along with the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), IBM and Gust launched Digital.nyc portal, a priceless tool for start-ups in the field of ICT and innovation serving as a shared and unified space for finding partners, investors and employees for company’s entry on the US market.
Online hub Digital.nyc, run IBM, is operated by established company Gust in the form of public and private partnership (PPP) with the City of New York and its aim is to further develop technology and startups potential of the city.
The portal serves as a matching point for startups, investors, incubators, accelerators or employees in the IT field. For Czech startups (and Venture Capital investors ), the portal offers not only a priceless source of contacts of potential partners, but also allows to post free add searching for prospective employee or find a suitable incubator or accelerator for its development in the United States. After a few months of its existence, the portal recorded over 7,500 startups and over 200 investors.
