Companies from all over the world present their products at the NY NOW which makes itthe biggest fair focused on household products on the East Coast of the USA. That is why the attendance of Czech companies, namely Gold Crystal, Blažek Glass, Glassor, Harrachov Novosad, Crystalite Bohemia and Artěl Glass, should be seen as a success. Czech firms showcased their own products to potential US clients and to potential US business partners as well.

On this occasion, Consulate General of the Czech Republic organized a glass of wine on August 23 to connect Czech glass companies with their existing and potential partners in nice premises of the Bohemian National Hall. Czech businessmen had an opportunity to present their glass product lines in an informal atmosphere. „I am very proud that we got the chance to introduce products of so many Czech glass producing companies in New York so that their clients and partners could acknowledge the high quality of Czech glass products. I am also glad that  CzechTrade mediatedparticipation of most of the at the fiar. I strongly believe that the presence of these companies at NY NOW expo is yet another step forward in their expansion to highly competitive US market“, said Karel Smékal, Deputy of Consul General and the Head of Economic Section.

NY NOW annually arranges two fairs. Jan Kubata, Head of CzechTrade in the United States, is planning to invite more Czech companies to participate in the upcoming editions in 2017.
