Deputy Minister Marian at the 133rd Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe

The 133rd session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe took place on 16 – 17 May in Strasbourg under the auspices of the Liechtenstein presidency. The session commemorated the 75th anniversary of this human rights organization. Czechia was represented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jan Marian. The Committee of Ministers adopted a number of decisions regarding the future activities of the organization as well as the Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence.

At the meeting, the 46 member states reaffirmed their support for Ukraine, both its recovery and reconstruction as well as efforts to achieve justice for the victims of the Russian aggression. The documents adopted by the Committee of Ministers are available on the website of the Council of Europe. Czechia emphasized its support to Ukraine and appreciated the adoption of the Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence.
