Czechia contributes to the Solidarity Fund for Ukraine

Ambassador Petr Válek, Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe, signed the donor contribution agreement on behalf of Czechia on 6 June 2024. Council of Europe Development Bank was represented by its Governor Carlo Monticelli.
 

The Solidarity Fund for Ukraine was established in 2022 as a special fund to assist displaced persons from Ukraine and to support the country's reconstruction. Czechia contributed to the Solidarity Fund for Ukraine for the second time.
