On 10 November, Ambassador Tomáš Dub attended a memorial ceremony at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra for those killed in wars in which Australia was also a participant.
Ambassador Dub laid a wreath in the colours of the Czech flag at the memorial stone.
The ceremony included a memorial service, the laying of wreaths by the diplomatic corps and a minute's silence for the fallen at 11am. The remembrance speech was delivered by the Director of the Australian War Memorial, Mr Matt Anderson PSM. This year's ceremony was also attended and supported by the Australian Federal Guard and the band of the Royal Military School, Duntroon.
To ensure the health and safety of visitors, a maximum of 500 people were allowed at this year's National Ceremony.
