A translation of a document to be used in Czechia for official purposes must be officially authenticated.  Authentication can be carried out by a Sworn Translator registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic or by a Czech diplomatic mission abroad. A translation will be authenticated as long as it´s correct. The application fee is non-refundable even if the result of authentication process is negative due to incorrectness of the translation. To avoid this situation, applicant might choose to use services of a professional translator.  A translator accredited with NAATI National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd (NAATI) is one of several options.
