The Path of Czech Egyptology exhibition

On 1 November 2022, the exhibition "The Path of Czech Egyptology" has been inaugurated in the presence of H.E. Ivan Jukl, Ambassador, Prof. Miroslav Bárta, Head of Czech archeological excavations in Egypt, Associate Prof. Jiří Janák, Director of the Czech Institute of Egyptology, representatives of the Charles University management and others.
The exhibition is located directly on the wall of the Embassy. All those interested in the discipline of Egyptology are cordially invited to explore the exhibition panels until February 2023.
The opening also included a series of lectures on current projects and excavations at Abusir and Saqqara. Participants of the event were also introduced to the study opportunities offered by the Charles University of Prague.
The event was a joint effort of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo, the Czech Institute of Egyptology, Charles University and the network of Czech Centres.
