The exhibition presents the history of Czech Egyptology, its greatest archaeological achievements and its journey across scientific fields, as the research team of the Czech Institute of Egyptology at Charles University includes specialists from many different scientific fields, from archeology and the Egyptian language to research on climate change, the development of religious ideas, flora and fauna or the use of cybernetic models in the study of ancient Egyptian society.

We have prepared a special guided tour taking place on November 12, 2022 at 2 p.m.. The tour will be led by the director of the Czech Institute of Egyptology, Jiří Janák, together with the photographer of the Czech Institute of Egyptology, Petr Košárek.

The exhibition is outdoors and is located on the embassy wall.
