The Institute of International Relations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic along with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Anna Lindh Foundation would like to cordially invite you to a conference on the topic:

"Reaching out to the Other: Overcoming Intercultural Conflicts"

The event will take place on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Czernin Palace, Loretánské náměstí 5, 118 00 Prague 1.

The conference discusses the possibility of overcoming of intercultural conflicts, and in particular, it focuses on diverse methods of conflict resolution and peacebuilding. It will highlight the importance of dialogue and communication for the transformation, de-escalation and potential resolution of political and armed conflicts. The event will provide a platform for representatives of diplomatic delegations and international organizations who are involved in mediation and conflict resolution, as well as academics and NGO experts.
