Great success of Czech dancers on the Dance World Cup 2015 finals

The finals of the greatest all-genre dance competition on the planet for children and young adults around the world, Dance World Cup, took place in Rin Grand Hotel Bucharest this July.
 
 

Among over 18,000 competitors from 38 countries 17 Czech dancing schools were on the shortlist: HKH Ballet, Adela Pollertova’s Ballet Academy, Ballet studio, Arabesque Ballet School Prague, BcA. Jan Nemec’s Ballet School, Filianek Ballet School, Child Prague Ballet - Dance Group Veronika Zídková, Emotion Dance School, Dance studio HPM, RIS ballet - dance studio Olomouc, Moravian Institute of Education, Mgr. Radmila Chmelova’s SZUS, Honza Pokusil’s Dance Theatre, Terpsichore Ballet Company, TS Zaba, TS NO FEET and ZUS Zbraslav.

The first day of competition, in the category of junior ballet performances, the Czech Republic won four medals: gold for Nela Polášková from Mgr. Radmila Chmelova’s school for performance Kitri, gold for Izabela Gracikova from HKH Ballet school for performance Aurora, two bronze medals for "small" ballerinas from Terpsichore Ballet Company for Tritsch-Tratsch Polka and Swan Lake Pas de quatre and a bronze for Mgr. Radmila Chmelova’s school for performance Sailors. Nela Polášková won one more gold medal in the category of modern and contemporary dance.

Pavel Stiegler, head of economic section of the Czech Embassy in Bucharest, visited the event to support our representatives and personally congratulated some of the successful finalists.
