Ambassador met the Crown Princess and Prince Radu on the occasion of a birthday of King Mihal I of Romania and handed over to them a coffee set by Thun specially made with the Royal cypher. At the same time he presented a Silver medal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic for contribution to development of friendship and alliance between Czechs and Romanians. The Royal family maintained close and intensive relations with Czechoslovakia in interwar period of the Little Entente. Besides, the Czech Karel Líman was an official architect to the Romanian Royal Court.
