Which country is home to two of five world's biggest antivirus software companies? Which is the only country in the EU where a local search engine is more successful than Google? Where does the word robot come from? The Czech Innovation Festival (CIF) is the Czech Republic's showcase in the field of science, research and innovation.
It is organised by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Germany and Czech Centre Berlin.
We cordially invite you to the first Czech Innovation Festival at the Czech Centre Berlin, 9 -11 June 2016: The future of robotics, ICT revolution and other topics on stage: presentations, discussions and a Czech start-up pitch
The CIF focuses on innovations in the range of ICT, internet, mobile apps, digitalisation and industry 4.0. Main partners are the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics at the Technical University Prague (CIIRC) and the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR), who will present a brand new support programme for Czech-German projects at the CIF, and on the German side for example Berlin Partner for Business and Technology.
German and Czech partners will discuss different topics from the field. On the second day of the CIF we invite you to a pitch of Czech digital start-ups, which already achieved their first successes (not only in the Czech Republic).
The CIF takes place on 9 -11 June 2016 at the Czech Centre Berlin, Wilhelmstraße 44/ access via Mohrenstraße, 10117 Berlin.
