Tragic event on 21/12/2023 at Faculty of Arts in Prague (electronic condolences book)

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beirut announces with deep sadness that on 21 December 2023, 14 people were killed and 25 people were injured in a tragic shooting at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague.

In connection with this tragic event, the government of the Czech Republic decided to declare a state of mourning on Saturday, December 23, 2023.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the bereaved and wishes a speedy recovery to all who were injured during this tragic event.
