The donation of the medical equipment from the Czech Republic comprises the infant incubators, phototherapeutic lamps, electrical beds, CPAP machines, gynecological chairs, ultrasound devices, and electrocoagulators.

The overall value of the Czech Republic donation is 250.000USD, and it was financed from the Reconstruction Programme of the Czech Republic in the Middle East region for the period 2022–2027 approved by the Czech Republic government in November 2021.

Thanks to the new Czech medical equipment for the neonatology department, the Zahle hospital will be able to improve the quality of care for premature babies as well as the overall quality of hospital services for all its patients from the Zahle region, including the vulnerable population.
