On 14 October 2024, the Czech Ambassador, Martin Tomčo, met with the CEO of Hainan Airlines Holdings, Yu Chaojie, and his delegation. The participants discussed the benefits of the air link between Prague and Beijing, which was renewed in June this year. The resumption of the route allows for the development of cooperation not only in the tourism sector but also in the business links between the two countries.

During the meeting, CEO Yu Chaojie also introduced the strategic investor of Hainan Airlines Holdings, Fangda Group, which has a broad portfolio of activities in the fields of healthcare, iron and steel, coal mining, and aviation. The meeting also discussed the possibilities of future cooperation with Czech companies operating not only in China.
