The ceremonial opening of the Czech pavilion took place at the CIMT engineering fair

A total of 15 Czech companies presented themselves at this year's, already 19th, Beijing engineering fair CIMT. The ceremonial opening of the Czech pavilion on April 21 was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing, the Association of Engineering Technology and Chinese partners.

Czech companies traditionally had their joint Czech pavilion at the CIMT – China International Machine Tool Show, which is held in Beijing every odd year (every even CCMT in Shanghai). It was implemented in the form of official Czech participation organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. A total of 15 companies presented themselves at it, namely: FERMAT CZ, s.r.o., FERMAT Machine Tool, s.r.o., FERMAT STROJE LIPNÍK, s.r.o., Geartec.cz, s.r.o., Hestego, a.s., IDEAL-Trade Service, spol. s r.o., KSK Precise Motion, a.s., ŠKODA MACHINE TOOL, a.s., RETOS VARNSDORF s.r.o., TOS Hulin, a.s., TOS Kuřim, TOS Olomouc s.r.o., TOS VARNSDORF a.s., VÚTS, a.s. and WALTER CZ, s.r.o.
On the first day of the fair, April 21, the ceremonial opening of the Czech pavilion took place, which was opened with speeches by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Martin Frélich, Deputy Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Beijing Martin Hošek and Vice President of the China Machine Tool Industry Association Wang Liming. The official opening was followed by a free debate with individual Czech companies.
The China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT), organized by the China Machine Tool Industry Association since 1989, is one of the four largest engineering fairs in the world. Representatives of Czech companies have participated in all editions so far. This year, from April 21 to 26, more than 2,200 exhibitors participated on a total area of 310 thousand m2.
