Czech Health Representatives discussed the Bilateral Cooperation in Beijing, Nanjing and Shanghai

Delegation of representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and Motol University Hospital led by Deputy Minister of Health for Legislation and Law Mr. Radek Policar visited Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing in April, 18 - 22, 2016.
The aim of the mission of the delegation was to consolidate and further develop mutual cooperation that already stands on solid foundations. The delegations discussed mainly the preparation of the upcoming 16 + 1 Health Minister Summit (held in June in Suzhou), the stay of Chinese children from Beijing and Tianjin in Karlova Studánka and the promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in the Czech Republic as the Czech Republic is interested in becoming the gateway of TCM to Europe and 16 + 1 countries. The parties agreed that during the upcoming Summit the 16+1 Hospital Association will be established and a Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the competent health authorities.
