Czech National Bank Governor Discussed Cooperation in China

The Governor of the Czech National Bank Miroslav Singer payed a visit do China between 14 and 18 May 2015. He took part in a meeting of central bank governors from Central Asia and Europe in Shanghai. In Beijing Mr Singer held a meeting with the Chairman of CBRC (China Banking Regulatory Commission).
The Governor was accompanied by the Czech National Bank Vice-Governor Vladimír Tomšík in Beijing who also met with the management of Bank of China – one of the biggest commercial banks in China. The meeting focused on cooperation in the area of financial market regulation and the process of opening a branch of Bank of China in the Czech Republic.
