Government of Heilongjiang meets the European representatives in Harbin

Province of Heilongjiang is not only the northernmost and easternmost provinces of China, but also the province with the highest latitude. Its vast land and fertile soil gave rise to conditions suitable for agriculture and agro-industry. And its location near the Russian and Mongolian borders helped to define character of its culture, industry and business.
The meeting of representatives of local governments with European leaders, the “Euro-China Business Meeting Heilongjiang”, took place from 18th to 20th June 2012 in the capital city of the province Harbin. The organizer of this year's meeting was the same as in previous years, Macro Euro-China Entrepreneurs Club (MECEC) while invitation to this year event was again accepted by businesses from various Member States of EU, representatives of national and regional trade and investment offices and government organizations and agencies.
Overall, the event attracted more than 100 European companies and 200 local companies.
The aim of the event was to stimulate investment and trade development between the provinces of Heilongjiang and EU businesses while deepening cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
