How does the atom breaking continue in China?

The city of Qingdao is known for its beaches and the famous brewery of the same name, which was founded here by German settlers at the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth century. Not far from this eight million metropolis stretch not only vineyards, but also the new nuclear units have been being built here in cooperation with Americans. And that is what with the upcoming completion of the blocks in Temelin, of course, catches our interest.

Hence from June 6 to 10, 2012, a special envoy for energy security as well as the government commissioner for the completion of Temelín NPP, V. Bartuška, visited Beijing and the construction of the Haiyang nuclear power plant. In Beijing, the Czech delegation accompanied by the Embassy diplomats met with representatives of the National Nuclear Safety Administration (partner of SÚJB) as well as with the company management of the State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation and the China Power Investment Corporation, and after its redeployment to Qingdao it visited Haiyang NPP, where it met with the investor representatives and the company officials of Westinghouse. The knowledge gained during the visit helped the Czech representatives to get an overview of the current situation in the construction of nuclear power plants in the PRC in general, as well as specific information about the progress of the EPR project in Taishan (AREVA) and AP1000 in Sanmen and Haiyang (Westinghouse). Both parties also discussed about the improvement of nuclear safety after the events happening in Japan's Fukushima as well as possible cooperation in the nuclear field.
