Statement of the Minister on the occasion of the meeting of Prime Ministers of the countries in Central and South-Eastern Europe with the Premier of PRC

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic welcomes informal meeting of Prime Ministers of 16 countries of Central and South-Eastern Europe with Premier Wen Jiabao taking place in Warsaw on 26 April 2012, during the visit of the Chinese Premier in the Republic of Poland.
The People’s Republic of China is a priority country of the Czech Republic in Asia and
a strategic partner; both countries are linked by long-lasting friendship and good cooperation. Therefore, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic is pleased with the fact, that there will be a bilateral meeting of Premier Petr Nečas and Premier Wen Jiabao which will contribute to further advancement of the Czech-Chinese relations and mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas of common interest.
