
Speaker of the Czech Parliament J. Hamacek visited Beijing

Between April 20 and April 21, 2015 the Speaker of the Czech Parliament, Mr. Jan Hamacek visited Beijing. During two days, among other activities, he met his counterpart Zhang Dejiang or vice Premier Liu Yandong.
During the meeting with his counterpart, chairman of the National People´s Congress, Zhang Dejiang, they both agreed that the bilateral relations between The Czech Republic and China are on the good level and there is a potential to increase this level. They both support even more intense cooperation between two countries not only on the highest level, but also on the level of the parliamentarians and the level of the parliamentarian groups. Speaker J. Hamacek invited Zhang Dejiang for the visit of the Czech Republic and Zhang Dejiang expressed his wish to visit the Czech Republic.
Speaker J. Hamacek also met with the minister of International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC Mr. Wang Jiarui. They both talked about the concrete projects for deepening the cooperation of both countries. Minister Wang Jiarui visited the Czech Republic in December 2014.
During the meetings were also present minister of Industry and commerce of the Czech Republic Mr. J. Mladek and Minister of Health of the Czech Republic S. Nemecek.
Speaker of the Czech Parliament visited Beijing within the framework of the “Czech Days in Shanghai” event. This was the main political part of the event. From Beijing Mr. Hamacek travels to Shanghai where he will have the meeting with the Government of Shanghai, participation at CSFIT fair and official opening of the contemporary Czech art exhibition.
