Czech government officials expressed their condolences over the sinking of the boat on the Jangtze River

President of the Czech Republic, H. E. Milos Zeman expressed his deep sorrow over the sinking of the boat on Yangtze River in the letter addressed to President of PRC H.E. Ji Xinping. The condolences were also expressed by the other government officials to their Chinese counterparts: Prime minister Mr. B. Sobotka, Foreign MinisterMr.  L. Zaoralek or Speaker of the Parliament Mr. J. Hamacek.

 

I am deeply grieved by the unfortunate indecent that the ship sinking in the Yangtze River and the lives of dozen people have been taken away. I believe that rescuers at the site of the overturned passenger ship could successfully save more survivors.

I would like to offer in this difficult time our sincere sympathies to all families and friends, whose relatives and loved ones have been affected by this emergency.
