
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing celebrated the 25th anniversary of Czechia's accession to NATO

On 12th of March 2024, the Czech Republic celebrated the twentieth anniversary of its accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). To mark the occasion, the embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing organized an exhibition titled “25 years of security: Czechia in NATO” and alongside the defence attaches organized a reception to commemorate this anniversary.
The ambassadors, diplomatic representatives and Defence attachés of NATO countries participated in the event, while the ambassadors of Poland and Hungary delivered speeches alongside the ambassador of the Czech Republic, H. E., Martin Tomčo. The Defence attaché of the Czech Republic, lieutenant general, Jaromír Zůna, delivered a speech commemorating his own personal experience and memories of Czech Republic’s NATO ascension.
