Deputy Minister T. Dub assured Vice-Minister Fu Ying, during their meeting in the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC on February 16, about the will of the Czech government to work towards further development of Czech-Chinese bilateral relations. These relations have an enormous potential for growth not only in the economic area, but also in the cultural sphere, in science and technology or in education. Political dialogue should lead to the further deepening of the bilateral relationship. During the meeting, Deputy Minister T. Dub confirmed that the Czech Republic respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the People’s Republic of China. At the same time, the policies of the Czech government is guided by principles, one of the most important of which is protection of human rights around the world.

During his visit to Beijing, Deputy Ministr T. Dub, who is responsible at the Foreign Ministry for economic cooperation, met also with the President of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China J. de Boisséson, with whom he discussed issues related to the business environment in China for European companies.

Subsequently, the Deputy Ministr dined with representatives of Czech companies in China whom he assured about the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and of the Czech Embassy in Beijing for bilateral trade and for their activities in China.
