Liu Xiaodong is considered as one of the most accomplished artists of the Chinese contemporary art world. The couple held a discussion with Ambassador Sečka about the influence of Chinese contemporary art in the world, as well as the current status and development of Czech art. After learning about the ongoing “EmbassyArt” programme, Mr. Liu and Mrs. Yu showed interest in participating in the programme in the future, and both expressed agreement with the opinion of Ambassador Sečka that “EmbassyArt” culture program can act as a rainbow connecting the Czech Republic and China and can certainly promote culture exchanges and friendly communication between the two countries. Both expressed the good will of having more opportunities to cooperate in the field of culture in the future.
