Pre-premiere of the first Chinese-Czech movie "Somewhere only we know"

On Monday February 2, took place the pre-premiere of the first Chinese-Czech movie “Somewhere only we know” directed by the famous Chinese actress and director Xu Jinglei. Ambassador of the Czech Republic to China, H. E. Mr. Libor Secka with his wife and colleagues from the Embassy attended the screening of the movie. Although it was a pre-premiere, one can already indicate that this movie might become a blockbuster. It may also bring attention of the Chinese tourists to travel to Prague.
The romantic movie “Somewhere only we know” is the first Chinese-Czech movie ever which was supported by the film incentives from the Czech Government. Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing together with the Czech Tourism and Czech Film Commission communicated with the Chinese Filmmakers from autumn 2013. The Shooting itself took place during spring and summer 2014. The premiere is scheduled to February 10, 2015.
Ticket presale a week prior the premiere reached the number of almost half million.
The story of the true love on the background of the real historical events is eternal topics. Together with amazing pictures of beautiful city of Prague, it is an irresistible combination that might attract enormous quantity of Chinese tourists to Prague.
