Seven teams from Embassies of the USA, United Kingdom, France, Norway, China International Sport Exchange Center and Chinese media competed in a triathlon-like race: rafting, cycling (on a quadruple bike) and running. The competition took place at the Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park in Shunyi, Beijing. The park, where 2008 Olympic competition took place, is also known as the Natural Oxygen Bar.

The end of the race was a victorious moment for the team of the Embassy of the Czech Republic (Zbyněk Noha, Klára Jurčová, Lukáš Opatrný and Lenka Chalupecká) who won and were awarded gold medals. The team of the Embassy of the United States took the second place and the team of the Embassy of the United Kingdom took the third place.
