Mr. Hu Zhanfan, President of the Chinese national television CCTV, held a luncheon in honor of the Czech guest. During this and related meetings, both sides discussed possibilities of mutually-beneficial cooperation in the field of production of programs for children and youth, as well as documentaries and educational programs. Mr. Ouyang Changlin, Director General of the biggest regional television company „Hunan Broadcasting System“, also expressed special interest in Czech animated production during his talks with Mr. Dvořák in Changsha, the capital of Hunan province. Hunan Television is, especially among young people, known as “mango television” (referring to the logo of the company) and is broadcasting on thirteen channels. Mr. Dvořák also held discussions about possible future cooperation with representatives of Shanghai Television.
