The reception included rich cultural program.  As part of the reception, several exhibitions were held at the premises of the Embassy: The Story of the Czech Design, Czech Design Line, 1918: the founding of Czechoslovakia, the taste of Czech Innovation Expo. Another exhibition „Antique Czech Marrionette Theatre“ was brought to China and arranged by Karromato Theatre. The celebrations concluded with a concert performed by pianist Jana Chaudhuri playing the Petrof grand piano and Anežka Beščecová playing the flute.

Over 400 guests from the diplomatic corps, Chinese partners and the Czech and Slovak expatriate community attended the celebrations.
