The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing celebrated the 104th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Independent Czechoslovak State

On the 28thOctober, decorated by the golden autumn colors, the garden of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing was full of guests celebrating the 104th anniversary of Czechoslovakia’s founding.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic celebrated 28thOctober marking the 104th anniversary of the founding of the independent Czechoslovak state. Despite the cold autumn weather, the premises of the embassy were full of guests spanning from representatives of the Chinese authorities, diplomatic corps, companies as well as cultural and artistic spheres in China.
Many of the guests, not at all deterred by the chilly breeze of late October, could not resist the delicious Czech beer and Czech wine, accompanied by a delicious outdoor buffet.
Ambassador Vladimír Tomšík welcomed guests of honor, Vice Foreign Minister Mr Deng Li, the special representative of the Chinese government for Europe Mr Wu Hongbo and the Director General of the European Department from the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) Mr Yu Yantang. This marked one of the highest-level delegations to visit a National Day celebration at the Czech Embassy to this date and clearly showed the long-term and strong relations between both countries. In fact, not only did Czech Republic celebrate its 104th anniversary, but also its 73th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations between both countries.
