Welcoming speech gave the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to China Vladimír Tomšík, who highlighted the greatest moments in Czech sports history and pointed out the significant role of sport in the life of many Czechs. Following the Ambassador´s speech, representatives of Chinese ice hockey and Olympic associations shared their thoughts on the Czech-China cooperation in sports.

More than 100 guests, including Chinese sport officials, attended the event. The reception was also attended by young Slavia Prague´s ice hockey player´s who competed in international youth ice-hockey tournament held in Beijing.
